    How the score works

Upload extracts text from your file in the browser, then the checker looks for signals recruiters and simple ATS parsers often reward: clear section headings (Experience, Education, Skills), measurable action verbs, sensible length, contact basics, and overlap with your target role keywords. Image-only scanned PDFs may not extract well — paste text in that case.

    Quick wins before you apply

    • Lead bullets with verbs: built, shipped, reduced, automated, led.
    • Add numbers where true: users, %, time saved, grade, project scope.
    • Mirror 3–6 keywords from the job description you want.
    • Prefer DOCX or text-based PDF over photo scans.

    FAQs

Do you store my resume file?

No. PDF/DOC/DOCX are read locally in your browser. Avoid uploading files that contain passwords or government IDs.

    DOC vs DOCX?

DOCX usually extracts cleanly. Older .DOC files use a best-effort reader — if the score looks wrong, re-save as PDF or DOCX and try again.

Can I use this without an account?

Yes. Register if you want portal onboarding and newsletter tips.
