DeFi yield after rate-cut narratives: risk still compounds
When TradFi rates fall, DeFi APYs look attractive again. Smart-contract and oracle risk do not fall with them.
Yield is a risk budget
Higher APY usually prices something: liquidity, oracle, governance, or incentive emissions.
Before depositing
- Read audit recency and scope
- Check admin key / pause powers
- Size as if withdrawal queues can freeze
